Nottingham Forest are in advanced talks to sign Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz in a deal worth up to £25m as Tuesday's transfer deadline nears. The proposed move would see the Colombia international link up again with Forest boss Oliver Glasner.

Munoz joined Crystal Palace from Belgian side Genk in 2024 and is a Colombia international. He has been a key player for the Eagles, playing a crucial part in the club's historic FA Cup and Europa Conference League triumphs under Glasner. The 30-year-old has just under two years left on his current deal and Palace are prepared to sell this summer.

Munoz has emerged as a late transfer target for Forest boss Oliver Glasner, who worked with the full-back during his time in charge at Selhurst Park. Talks over the proposed deal have been ongoing for a number of days.

Those negotiations have accelerated since Palace's 4-1 defeat by Manchester City on Friday. An agreement between the two clubs is now understood to be close.

Palace signed Anan Khalaili from Belgian side Royale Union Saint-Gilloise earlier this summer, and the Israel international is expected to take Munoz's place in Pierre Sage's team.
