Odisha FC’s Phase 1 ISL 2026-27 fixtures confirmed; season opens in October

Odisha FC’s Phase 1 fixtures for the 2026-27 Indian Super League were published on 27 September 2026 as the competition prepares to kick off on 10th October 2026. The schedule sets out the Kalinga Warriors’ matches across October, November, December and January.

The ISL will feature thirteen clubs this season, with teams contesting the ISL Shield and the ISL Cup. Odisha entered the 2025-26 campaign underprepared, fielding an all-Indian squad with Carlos Delgado as their only foreign player. That approach produced just 2 wins from 13 ISL games and a 12th-place finish on 11 points. Despite that record, Odisha’s management have retained TG Purushothaman as head coach.

Odisha have bolstered their roster with a series of domestic signings: Sachin Suresh, Nihal Sudeesh, Nandhakumar Sekar, Aashir Salim, Hritik Tiwari, Rithwik Das and Imran Khan. Their foreign arrivals include Manuel Molina, Everton Nascimento, Giorgi Aburjania, Stephen Eze and Mahmoud Eid. Phase 1 begins for Odisha on 14th October when they travel to the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi to face Punjab FC. Their next fixture is away to Inter Kashi. Odisha’s first home match is scheduled for 24th October at the Kalinga Stadium against NorthEast United.

Odisha have a single fixture in November, visiting Mohun Bagan on 5th November ahead of the international break. December’s Phase 1 home programme at the Kalinga Stadium includes matches against Bengaluru FC, FC Goa, SC Delhi and Kerala Blasters.

January’s Phase 1 schedule sees Odisha travel to face East Bengal, Chennaiyin FC and Mumbai City. The first phase concludes for the club with a match against Churchill Brothers in Goa on 15th January.

Odisha FC will open their ISL 2026-27 campaign against Punjab FC on 14 October 2026 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi.
