Opening six overs of New Zealand vs India T20Is available free on TikTok in New Zealand

India beat New Zealand by four wickets in Christchurch on October 22 in the opening match of the five-match T20I series, and New Zealand Cricket with broadcaster Sky will stream the opening six overs of each match on TikTok for free to viewers in New Zealand.
Sanju Samson scored 67 off 33 balls as India chased down a 226-run target with two balls to spare; New Zealand had posted 225/4 in their 20 overs, with Glenn Phillips contributing 82 off 40 balls.
New Zealand Cricket and Sky have introduced live coverage of the opening six overs on TikTok, with the stream available on the official BLACKCAPS TikTok account in a vertical video format; the initiative is intended to attract younger fans who regularly use their phones to watch short videos and follow sports online.
The TikTok feed is limited to the first six overs and will not carry the full match, meaning viewers must switch to another platform to see the remainder of each game; TikTok is not available in India, so Indian fans cannot watch the series on that service. In New Zealand, full matches remain available free-to-air on Three TV and via the ThreeNow streaming service.
In India, the T20I series is being broadcast by Sony Sports Network with live streaming on SonyLIV.
The five-match series runs until November 1; India lead 1-0 after the opening game and the teams meet again in the second T20I on October 24.
