PAC found dead in Des Plaines after AEW All Out; police report adds details, cause unknown

Benjamin Satterley, widely known as AEW wrestler PAC (formerly Neville in WWE), was found dead inside a vehicle in the parking lot of a CAVA restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois, at around 4:08 PM on Sunday, days after competing at AEW All Out. A police report and subsequent media accounts have added scene details but the cause and manner of death remain undetermined.
Satterley wrestled Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship on Saturday at AEW All Out in Chicago and later appeared during the main event to assist his Death Rider stablemate Jon Moxley against Will Ospreay; those were his final televised appearances. AEW dedicated an episode of Dynamite to him and WWE paid tribute on Raw, while tributes from fans and colleagues followed his sudden death. The new police report and media reports attempt to clarify the circumstances of his passing but stop short of identifying a cause.
According to the incident report, first responders were alerted to a person who appeared to be unconscious inside a car and arrived at the CAVA parking lot after the 911 call; they were initially unable to confirm whether the 40-year-old was breathing. Witnesses told outlets that customers noticed Satterley had passed out in the vehicle, called 911 and some searched the restaurant for medical equipment while waiting for paramedics. Officers who attended the scene found him inside the vehicle and reported no obvious signs of trauma.
The report states the death did not appear to be suspicious and that there were no apparent signs of foul play; officers noted Satterley showed no obvious injuries or suspicious markings. Investigating officers observed what appeared to be saliva on the front of his shirt, a detail recorded in the report. Police removed items from the vehicle and logged them as evidence.
TMZ provided additional details from the scene, reporting that authorities recovered Satterley’s phone from the center console with GPS navigation active and displaying directions to O’Hare Airport for his apparent return flight to the United Kingdom after the AEW All Out PPV. Officers also found two suitcases and a backpack in the vehicle; the suitcases were locked, so police searched the backpack before placing all luggage into police property.
The Cook County Medical Examiner told TMZ that "the cause and manner of death remain pending additional testing." TMZ's follow-up accounts added scene and possession details but did not identify a cause of death. Despite the new information in the report and media updates, investigators have not reported evidence of foul play.
The immediate next step is the pending additional testing by the Cook County Medical Examiner to determine cause and manner of death; authorities and media outlets have stated that further results are awaited.
