Pakistan and Sri Lanka meet in the second T20 International of Sri Lanka's tour of Pakistan at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Sunday, October 11. Pakistan hold a 1-0 lead in the series after winning the opening match in Rawalpindi.

Sahibzada Farhan began his T20I captaincy at home with a comprehensive win over Sri Lanka, scoring 89 off 53 balls with 10 fours and four sixes. Sri Lanka’s Lahiru Udara made 91 off 55 balls in the same match. The match result gave Pakistan the advantage heading into the second game.

On his return, Naseem Shah bowled effectively and finished with figures of 3/36 from four overs. Mohammad Imran contributed with the ball as well, recording 2/21.
