Pant’s 29th birthday coincides with Rest of India reclaiming Irani Cup

Rishabh Pant’s 29th birthday coincided with Rest of India reclaiming the Irani Cup, beating Jammu and Kashmir by 167 runs.

Pant missed the on-field action because of illness but joined the post-match festivities.

Rest of India fell behind earlier before mounting a comeback that featured Mukesh Kumar’s bowling and an innings from young Ravichandran Smaran.
