Penta and Tiffany Stratton win Money in the Bank; Liv Morgan reclaims Women’s World Title in New Orleans

Penta and Tiffany Stratton won the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches respectively, and Liv Morgan regained the Women’s World Championship at WWE Money in the Bank 2026, held at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on October 11, 2026. Roman Reigns retained the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight on the same Premium Live Event card.
The 2026 Money in the Bank PLE was live from Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, with multiple storylines converging on headline title matches and a set of qualification contests that built to two ladder matches. Prominent matches on the card included Roman Reigns versus LA Knight for the World Heavyweight Championship, a Women’s World title triple threat involving Becky Lynch, Stephanie Vaquer and Liv Morgan, a singles bout between Oba Femi and Bronson Reed, and the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches. Expectations for a high-profile night were noted in coverage leading into the event.
LA Knight opened the main action against Roman Reigns, entering with a 1-0 head-to-head record against the Megastar and applying early pressure with a first pin attempt that Reigns kicked out of. Reigns answered with a Superman punch and a subsequent pin attempt, while Knight regained the upper hand and attempted BFT; Reigns became the first wrestler to survive that maneuver. Knight set up another BFT, but Reigns blocked it and dropped Knight’s groin on the top rope before landing two Superman punches and a spear to finish the match. #AndStill 🏆@WWERomanReigns is STILL World Heavyweight Champion after a battle tonight! #MITB pic.twitter.com/IA2UHKYKCI
The women’s Money in the Bank ladder match featured Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton, with betting odds reportedly favoring Roxanne Perez and Lash Legend. Stratton executed a strategy that carried her through the chaos of the match to capture the briefcase. Stratton successfully cashed in her last Money in the Bank Briefcase and will be looking to win a title once again following her latest win. Oba Femi and Bronson Reed traded heavy offense in their singles match as Reed slammed Femi shoulder-first onto the apron and followed with a dive through the ropes, then continued the attack inside the ring and looked for a pin while Femi kicked out at two. Austin Theory attempted to interfere, but the official removed him from ringside; Reed later used brass knuckles supplied by Dupri and hit a Tsunami into a cover, yet Femi again kicked out before ultimately securing the win. In the Women’s World Championship triple threat, Liv Morgan was targeted early by Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer as both challengers tried to seize control; Vaquer displayed notable athleticism and Lynch relied on her experience. In the closing sequence Vaquer and Lynch brawled while Morgan sent Lynch crashing onto a ringside table, then capitalised by driving Vaquer with an Oblivion for the three-count to reclaim the title following the ‘Santiago Screwjob.’ #ANDNEW 🏆@YaOnlyLivvOnce is the NEW Women's World Champion! #MITB pic.twitter.com/QZJOMHSaJu
Bron Breakker dominated much of the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match and drew a reaction when Evan returned from a serious injury caused by Breakker, winning fan support during the contest. Breakker attempted to ascend a ladder before Penta intervened, pulling him down and creating a ladder bridge; Penta then delivered a Mexican Destroyer on Breakker onto the ladder, climbed uncontested and claimed the men’s briefcase.
