PFA Awards 2026: Full list of winners
Bruno Fernandes won the PFA Players’ Player of the Year as the 53rd Professional Footballers’ Association Awards took place on Tuesday night at the Manchester Opera House in Manchester. The ceremony honoured leading players from the 2025–26 season across English football.
The awards recognised footballers from the Premier League, the EFL Championship, League One, League Two, the Women’s Super League and the Women’s Super League 2 for 2025–26. Winners are chosen by votes from fellow players and the event was staged at the Manchester Opera House. Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes and Manchester City forward Khadija “Bunny” Shaw were among the principal recipients on the night. Olivia Smith (Arsenal) received the women’s Young Player of the Year and Nico O’Reilly (Manchester City) was named the men’s Young Player of the Year; Sir Kenny Dalglish and Karen Carney OBE were presented with PFA Merit Awards.

Championship Player of the Year was awarded to Hayden Hackney (Middlesbrough). League One Player of the Year went to Dom Ballard (Leyton Orient) and League Two Player of the Year to Aaron Drinan (Swindon Town). The clubs named as Teams of the Year were Arsenal (Premier League), Coventry City (Championship), Lincoln City (League One) and Bromley (League Two).
Defenders: Gabriel Magalhães (Arsenal), Nico O’Reilly (Manchester City), William Saliba (Arsenal), Jurriën Timber (Arsenal). Midfielders: Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Declan Rice (Arsenal), Rayan Cherki (Manchester City). Goalkeeper: Carl Rushworth (Coventry City).
Defenders: Milan van Ewijk (Coventry City), Bobby Thomas (Coventry City), Tristan Crama (Millwall), Taylor Harwood-Bellis (Southampton). Goalkeeper: George Wickens (Lincoln City). Defenders: Sonny Bradley (Lincoln City), Tendayi Darikwa (Lincoln City), Perry Ng (Cardiff City), Carl Piergianni (Stevenage). Midfielders: Oliver Norwood (Stockport County), Lewis Wing (Reading), Jack Moylan (Lincoln City).
Goalkeeper: Mathew Hudson (Oldham Athletic). Defenders: Omar Sowunmi (Bromley), Kelland Watts (Cambridge United), Jack Sanders (MK Dons), James Gibbons (Cambridge United). Midfielders: Alex Gilbey (MK Dons), Mitch Pinnock (Bromley), Sammy Braybrooke (Chesterfield). Forwards: Aaron Drinan (Swindon Town), Michael Cheek (Bromley), Callum Paterson (MK Dons).
