Phantom Blade Zero reportedly sells about 300,000 copies on Steam and tops 1.6 million wishlists

S-GAME’s upcoming action RPG Phantom Blade Zero has reportedly sold around 300,000 copies on Steam and exceeded 1.6 million wishlists, Alinea Analytics and industry analyst Rhys Elliott said on August 24, 2026. Those figures were reported ahead of the game's official release.
The title has generated strong online interest and fan discussion, with several outlets comparing its potential to the commercial success of Black Myth Wukong. Alinea Analytics’ report attributed a marked increase in attention to Phantom Blade Zero’s appearance at The Game Awards, while the same report noted it was unclear how much additional lift the latest gameplay trailer and the State of Play showcase provided.
S-GAME told reporters that pre-orders have already exceeded their expectations, according to the coverage. Gaming consultant Daniel Camilo said the game is gaining popularity among the community.
The report also highlighted an official China publishing license as an important advantage for the studio. Camilo said that, with the license, S-GAME can significantly broaden its marketing initiative throughout the region, and that a number of local brands are already using the studio for promotions.
Actor Donnie Yen commented on Phantom Blade Zero, saying: "This is certainly one of the best quality games ever. The kind of level that they're pushing for… I have faith that it will lead the industry."
Details released ahead of launch state the main campaign is expected to take 30-40 hours to complete, and players will be able to select from three different difficulty modes. The game will also feature a 66-day mode, described in the report as a survival-style challenge in which the player has only 66 lives to finish the game.
Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled to launch on October 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC, with the reported sales and wishlist totals recorded prior to that release.
