PM Modi meets India's Commonwealth Games 2026 medallists, says 'Jo khelega, woh khilega'

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met India's Commonwealth Games 2026 medallists in New Delhi on August 9, 2026, and congratulated them after the country finished fourth in Glasgow.

Sharing a video of the meeting, he wrote, "Always #Cheer4Bharat." India won 39 medals, and Ahmedabad is set to host the 2030 Games.

Modi told the athletes, "Jo khelega, woh khilega," and led them in chanting "Bharat Mata ki Jai."
