Portugal beat Denmark 4-2 in Nations League; Klopp wins for Germany as City face appeal deadline

Portugal, coached by Jorge Jesus, beat Denmark 4-2 in the Nations League in Denmark on 2026-10-02.

The match was Portugal's first since Cristiano Ronaldo walked away from the squad over concerns about his playing time after being left on the bench for last Sunday's win in Norway.

João Félix was again on the scoresheet, his late strike sealing the points.

Jürgen Klopp won his first match in charge of Germany at the third attempt as Florian Wirtz's second-half goal secured a 2-0 win over Serbia in Munich. After losing to Greece on Sunday, Klopp had to field frankly ridiculous questions about the diversity of Germany's national team. Manchester City face an appeal deadline.
