Praggnanandhaa beats Keymer 19-9 to reach Grand Chess Tour final

Indian Grandmaster Praggnanandhaa defeated Vincent Keymer of Germany 19-9 to advance to the final of the Grand Chess Tour, the Times of India reported on August 25, 2026.

He will face reigning titleholder Fabiano Caruana in the final after Caruana triumphed over fellow American Wesley So to reach the last round.

The top three contestants will be granted direct entry to the next Grand Chess Tour.
