Paris Saint-Germain named their travelling squad for the UEFA Super Cup final against Aston Villa in Salzburg on 13 August, with Spanish coach Luis Enrique unveiling the roster on Wednesday ahead of the match.

PSG are aiming to begin the new season with a continental trophy and have named what the club described as a full-strength travelling squad after a number of players returned with extra rest following the World Cup.

The travelling group is listed as follows. Goalkeepers: Lucas Chevalier, Matvei Safonov, Alessandro Longoni. Defenders: Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Illia Zabarnyi, Lucas Digne, Lucas Hernandez, Nuno Mendes, William Pacho. Midfielders: Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, Joao Neves, Zaire Emery, Senny Mayulu, Dro Fernandez, Lucas Beraldo. Forwards: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembélé, Bradley Barcola, Maghnes Akliouche, Désiré Doué, Quentin N’Djantaou, Ibrahim Mbaye.

France internationals Maghnes Akliouche and Lucas Digne, who joined last week, are among the new recruits included in the squad, while youngsters Dro Fernandez, Quentin N’Djantaou and Ibrahim Mbaye also make the cut.

PSG struggled in preseason in the absence of many senior players, drawing 1-1 with Manchester United and losing 0-3 to Mallorca; they will defend the Super Cup title they claimed against Tottenham last year, a match that finished 2-2 before PSG won 4-3 on penalties, in an attempt to regain their form.

The club posted the squad on social media with the caption: "Le groupe de Parisiens pour la Supercoupe face à Aston Villa 🔴🔵 #PSGAVFC pic.twitter.com/p3e5wIJaZK".

The UEFA Super Cup final will kick off on 13th August at 12:30 am IST at Red Bull Arena Salzburg in Austria.
