Rajasthan United FC will host Sreenidi Deccan FC at the Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday, November 1 in the opening fixture of the 2026–27 Indian Football League season, with kick-off scheduled for 4:00 PM IST. Both sides will seek a positive start as they begin their campaigns.
The two clubs meet after contrasting finishes in the 2025–26 Championship Phase: Rajasthan United placed fourth while Sreenidi Deccan finished third. Rajasthan collected 18 points from 14 matches in that phase, conceding 24 goals, and finished behind Diamond Harbour FC, Shillong Lajong FC and Sreenidi Deccan FC. Sreenidi accumulated 26 points from 14 matches last season, recording seven wins, five draws and two defeats.
The fixture has been billed as a test of attacking quality, defensive organisation and execution in the final third, with both teams familiar with each other’s strengths and weaknesses from previous meetings.
