Rakshith Dave inherited the Super Sport 301-400cc win at the first round of the MRF Indian National Racing Challenge 2W-2026 at the Madras International Circuit in Chennai on Sunday after Chiranth Vishwanath received a 30-second penalty, despite Chiranth taking the chequered flag first. Dave, 18, was declared the winner in the premier class when the penalty was applied.

Chiranth Vishwanath crossed the line ahead but was demoted by the post-race 30-second time addition that handed the victory to Rakshith Dave. The opening round at the Madras International Circuit concluded on Sunday with multiple classes completing Race-2. Sixteen-year-old Kabilesh Rajini Krishnan, son of 11-time National champion Rajini Krishnan, recorded his first domestic victory by winning the Super Stock 301-400cc race. A.S. Ann Jennifer (Motul Sparks Racing), identified in the report as a former National woman champion, won the Super Stock 165cc race and completed a double after her Race-1 victory on Saturday.

In Super Sport 301-400cc Open (Race-2), the official top three were: 1. Rakshith Dave (Petronas TVS Racing) (11mins, 04.384secs); 2. Rahil Pillarisetty (RACR Castrol Power1) (11:05.051); 3. Mohamed Mikail (MadRabbit Racing) (11:05.592). The report states Dave was credited with the win following Chiranth's penalty.

Pro-Stock 200cc Open (Race-2) finished with R.S. Abdul Basim (Chandra LGE Racing) first in 11:56.275, Amarnath K. Menon (MadRabbit Racing) second in 11:56.365, and P.M. Super Stock 301-400cc Open (Race-2) listed Kabilesh Rajni Krishnan (RACR Castrol Power1) as the winner in 11:42.885, followed by Allwin Xavier (RACR Castrol Power1) in 11:43.025 and Seshadri (Motul Gusto Racing) in 11:43.254.

Super Stock 165cc Intermediate (Race-2) was won by A.S. Ann Jennifer (Motul Sparks Racing) in 12:51.378, with S. Anand Kumar (Ipone Yakuza Racing India) second in 12:52.927 and K.K. Anandhu (Veedol C2 Racing) third in 12:56.928. The Stock 301-400cc (Novice) Race-2 podium read: 1. R. Ashwin (12:22.013); 2. V. Lokesh (Speed Up Racing) (12:22.085); 3. S. Venugopalan (12:23.011).

Stock 165cc (Novice) Race-2 results were R. Hari Haran (RACR Castrol Power1) first in 13:11.607, Yashwant Varma (Motul Sparks Racing) second in 13:11.885 and Dev Agastya (Pvt.) third in 13:12.151. The Petronas TVS Racing One-Make Championship Open (RR 310) Race-2 podium recorded Kamal Navas (11:45.349), Rajender Beedani (11:45.565) and R. Hari Haran (11:48.211).

The Rookie (RTR 200) Race-2 (4 laps) finished with Dev Agastya first in 08:52.667, Rehbar Islam Baktoo second in 08:52.794 and Pothu Vignesh third in 08:52.921. The Electric RTE (4 laps) standings showed Mohamed Mikail first in 07:27.506, Rakshith Dave second in 07:31.753 and Savion Sabu third in 07:40.792.

The Race-2 schedule at the Madras International Circuit completed the first round of the MRF Indian National Racing Challenge 2W-2026 on Sunday, with results published across all classes.
