Real Kashmir FC and Sreenidi Deccan FC played out a 1-1 draw at the TRC Stadium in Srinagar on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in an Indian Football League (IFL) 2026–27 fixture. Thabiso Nelson Brown put Real Kashmir ahead in the 19th minute and David Castañeda Muñoz levelled for Sreenidi Deccan in the 52nd minute.

The goal for the Snow Leopards was scored by Lesotho forward Thabiso Nelson Brown, who was named the Man of the Match for his goal, while Colombian striker David Castañeda Muñoz restored parity for the Deccan Warriors in the second half. Real Kashmir turned out in their traditional yellow shirts and began the contest with a fluid approach through midfielders Ningthoukhongjam Rohen Singh, Lalawmpuia Sailo (Omoma), and Mohit Mittal alongside Under-22 forward Khullakpam Zahir Khan.

Real Kashmir dominated early possession and forced a dangerous free kick in the 10th minute from just outside the six-yard box; the visitors’ backline of Pritam Kotal, Gurmukh Singh, Nishu Kumar, and Jagdeep Singh cleared the danger. Sreenidi Deccan threatened on the counter soon after when skipper David Castañeda broke behind the Real Kashmir defence, only for goalkeeper Susnata Malik to make a close-range save to deny a one-on-one opportunity.

The opening goal arrived in the 19th minute after a well-delivered ball from Omoma. Marcus Leric Jr Joseph rose to head the delivery, Kamaljit Singh saved the header, and the rebound fell to Thabiso Nelson Brown, who finished clinically to register Real Kashmir’s first strike of the season.

Real Kashmir continued to control midfield exchanges through the remainder of the first half while Sreenidi, anchored by Pronay Halder, were largely confined to counter-attacks and struggled to establish sustained pressure before the interval. After half-time the southern side found more rhythm and, following a tactical adjustment, manufactured the equaliser.

The equaliser in the 52nd minute was initiated by Portuguese playmaker Adriano Duarte Castanheira, who combined with Jagdeep Singh; Jagdeep delivered a cross that David Castañeda met with a header to beat Susnata Malik. After that goal the tempo eased as both teams adopted a more cautious posture to manage energy levels for the closing stages.

Real Kashmir pressed late for a winner and came close in the 80th minute when Brown connected with a corner, only for Kamaljit Singh to palm the effort away in what the report described as the save of the match. Brown created another chance during five minutes of stoppage time, and both goalkeepers launched long balls in the final exchanges, but Sreenidi Deccan defended resolutely to preserve the draw.

With the point shared, Sreenidi Deccan moved into third position on the table, while Real Kashmir opened their account with one point and climbed to eighth place above Samaleswari SC.
