Real Madrid announce first-team squad numbers ahead of LaLiga 2026-27

Real Madrid announced squad numbers for their first-team players ahead of the LaLiga 2026-27 season on 10 August 2026, confirming new assignments for the summer arrivals. The club said the signings have been integrated into the squad and provided with shirts for their upcoming campaigns.
The announcement comes after a busy transfer window in which Real Madrid both offloaded fringe players and added several high-profile names. Jose Mourinho has taken charge at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and the new signings have joined his squad ahead of the new season.
Bernardo Silva and Ibrahima Konate arrived on free transfers from Manchester City and Liverpool, respectively. Levante youngster Carlos Espí was signed for €25m. Marc Cucurella moved from Chelsea for €55m. Denzel Dumfries was acquired from Inter Milan in a €20m deal. The club’s most expensive addition was Yan Diomande, who arrived from RB Leipzig for €125m.
The club published the squad numbers for the incoming players: Carlos Espí will wear 19, Bernardo Silva 20, Yan Diomande 25, Marc Cucurella 17, Ibrahima Konate 16 and Denzel Dumfries 24. These allocations match the numbers revealed by the club as part of its squad list ahead of the season.
Yan Diomande’s €125m transfer is the window’s largest for Real Madrid and he will wear number 25 in his debut campaign for the club. The other summer signings have likewise been assigned numbers for their initial seasons in Madrid.
All the new arrivals have been provided with squad numbers ahead of their debut seasons with Los Blancos, and those numbers will be used in the upcoming LaLiga 2026-27 campaign.
