Report that CYBERLEEK would release full GTA 6 PC build debunked

On August 23, 2026, online reports claiming that the leaker known as CYBERLEEK planned to release a full Grand Theft Auto 6 PC build were debunked after original coverage was withdrawn and labelled fabricated.
The item had been circulated in social media discussions and was picked up by publications and creators, with Insider Gaming publishing a story that it later retracted and the YouTuber MoistCr1TiKaL producing a full video based on the claims. Insider Gaming’s updated statement said the report relied on a screenshot and online discussion that were fake, and the publication deleted the original article and issued a public apology.
The contested image was presented as a threat from CYBERLEEK to release the complete PC build, but the updated coverage said the post appears to have come from an account impersonating or copying the leaker’s name. Insider Gaming described the underlying material as fabricated content circulating online and withdrew the piece once the information had been verified.
MoistCr1TiKaL’s video was created using the same misinformation that led to the wider spread of the claim; the channel’s coverage followed the initial reporting before the retraction. There remains no confirmed evidence that the person or accounts using the CYBERLEEK name possess a full game build, and public discussion has continued largely on the basis of recent footage the leaker shared.
Some observers have argued that CYBERLEEK likely does not hold a full build because he has not been able to share extensive material or show Lucia gameplay so far, a point cited in the online debate. No verified evidence currently suggests CYBERLEEK plans to release the full GTA VI build, and reports asserting that have been debunked and withdrawn.
Rockstar Games has not commented on the debunked report or confirmed that any full game build has been compromised. Rockstar is still expected to release an extended gameplay look, referred to as the GTA VI Extended Look on Netflix, on August 27, 2026, ahead of the game’s planned November 19, 2026 launch.
With the original claim retracted and no verified proof of a compromised full build, the next confirmed official update on GTA 6 remains Rockstar’s scheduled Extended Look on Netflix on August 27, 2026, which precedes the November 19, 2026 release date.
