Robbie Ure: 15 in 15 for IK Sirius sparks interest from notable clubs
Robbie Ure, a 22-year-old centre-forward for IK Sirius, has scored 15 goals in 15 Allsvenskan matches in the 2026 season and is attracting interest from several notable clubs. His scoring return has made him one of the leading attackers in the Swedish top flight this year.
Ure graduated from the Rangers Youth Academy and made a striking senior debut on August 30, 2022, scoring 10 minutes into a Scottish League Cup match against Queen of the South. Facing limited first-team minutes, he declined a contract extension in May 2023 to seek regular playing time overseas. He moved to Anderlecht in September 2023 and spent 18 months leading the line for RSCA Futures in the Belgian second division, where he worked on his physicality. In March 2025 he signed a four-year contract with IK Sirius.
Across the 2026 Allsvenskan campaign Ure has recorded 15 goals in 15 league games and is averaging a goal per match. His tally includes a four-goal performance against reigning champions Mjěby. That scoring consistency has placed him at the top of the league’s scoring charts.
Ure’s form has driven an unexpected title challenge for Sirius this season and has seen him described as one of Europe’s most explosive young strikers. His goalscoring has transformed Sirius’ domestic prospects and elevated his profile beyond Sweden.
His run of form has attracted interest from a number of top European clubs, with clubs monitoring the former Rangers player’s performances and there being substantial transfer interest following his recent success. That attention has intensified as he has risen to the top of the Allsvenskan scoring lists.
Standing at 6'2, Ure operates as a conventional centre-forward, noted for his hold-up play and ability to link with midfielders to initiate attacks. He is regarded as dangerous inside the 18-yard box, using movement to find space and finishing with both feet, and he also presents a threat from set pieces and crosses.
At international level Ure is a regular for Scotland U21 and, as reported, "he has made it clear that leading the line for the senior Scotland National Team is his aim"; Ukraine have actively contacted him through the grandparents’ connection.
Alongside his 15 goals in 15 matches he has also registered 2 assists, and with half of the season left Sirius sit 14 points clear atop the Allsvenskan table.
