Rockstar confirms GTA 6 players can see Jason nude in shower, IGN preview reports

Rockstar has confirmed that players will sometimes see protagonist Jason fully nude while taking a shower, according to an IGN preview of a hands-on session held in August at Rockstar North. IGN's coverage also detailed a dozen gameplay mechanics, features and open-world experiences planned for Grand Theft Auto VI.
IGN's report describes a deeper relationship between the two playable characters, Jason and Lucia, than in previous Rockstar pairings, noting that either character can drive while the other relaxes as a passenger, listen to the radio, or fire during police chases. The partners can exchange text messages in-game—for example to remind each other to lock a safehouse or to say they are going to bed—and both protagonists have extensive backstories that are gradually revealed across the campaign, with Lucia's ankle monitor identified as central to the plot.
The preview says non-player characters will respond more naturally to player actions, including noticing suspicious behaviour, confronting players, or fleeing, and that police forces will adopt smarter tactics such as surrounding robbery locations and identifying suspects before fully activating a wanted level. These changes are presented as part of an effort to make world reactions feel more consequential during encounters and crimes.
Robberies reportedly include a risk-versus-reward system: detonating a safe lets players escape faster but can destroy valuable loot, while taking time to crack combinations preserves maximum rewards. IGN also describes missions that permit multiple approaches—players may prioritise stealth, driving or combat—and states the story has been designed with replayability in mind.
Safehouses are said to function more like the camps in Red Dead Redemption 2, with other characters able to drop in during the story and Jason and Lucia following their own daily routines. The game will offer fully functional vehicle trunks for storing spare weapons and clothing, and players can shave heads or beards at home, although completely new hairstyle options will require visiting barbershops or salons; IGN reports that Leonida's clothing stores and salons are rumoured to offer exclusive outfits and hairstyles.
IGN notes that Snapmatic returns but that players cannot post as Jason or Lucia because the characters are trying to avoid leaving digital footprints; however, players can still browse social media in-game, follow accounts and view other users' posts. The coverage also references earlier leaks by CYBERLEAK that showed a nude beach and parties.
