Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to continue in ODIs with 2027 World Cup as target

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli plan to continue playing One-Day Internationals, with the 2027 World Cup as their final destination, as India face the West Indies at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday.

Their Test and T20I careers are well behind them, leaving the 50-over format as their remaining focus.

The 2027 World Cup will be jointly hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
