Roman Reigns not scheduled for WWE Raw on Sept. 21; LA Knight confirmed to appear

Roman Reigns will not appear on Monday Night Raw on September 21, 2026, in San Antonio, according to WWE's advertised lineup, while LA Knight is confirmed for the show.
Last week's Raw in Mexico City featured Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight title against Penta, with no outside interference despite the looming presence of 946 (Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price). Reigns pinned Penta to record his fourth successful World Heavyweight title defense after a match in which Penta came close to winning, and was confronted and taken down by LA Knight after the bout.
Following the attack, Reigns posted a promo on his social channels announcing a title match with LA Knight for Money in the Bank, a match WWE later made official for MITB. Despite that booking, Reigns is not advertised for the September 21 Raw and does not appear on the show's featured superstars list.
WWE lists Reigns as absent from Raw until the October 5 edition in St. Louis, Missouri, which the promotion identifies as the go‑home show for Money in the Bank. Barring changes to that schedule, the pair will have only one on‑air promo or segment before their title match in New Orleans, a limited buildup the source said will hurt the feud and represents another instance of WWE relying on star power rather than extended storyline development.
The September 21 Raw will emanate live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, and lists Oba Femi, Seth Rollins, Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, Sol Ruca and Penta among its featured superstars. The episode will continue qualifying matches for the 2026 men's and women's Money in the Bank ladder matches, with La Catalina, Roxanne Perez and Iyo Sky competing in the fourth women's qualifier and Dragon Lee, Solo Sikoa and Dominik Mysterio battling for the fourth men's spot; LA Knight is confirmed to appear.
Money in the Bank is scheduled for October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and WWE's current listings show Roman Reigns returning to Raw on October 5 in St. Louis as the final televised build to that event.
