Cristiano Ronaldo left Portugal's camp ahead of Thursday's Nations League clash with Denmark.
His departure followed a dispute over his role under new head coach Jorge Jesus, and Ronaldo confirmed he left after Jesus said he would not start the match.
The 41-year-old has not announced his international retirement, said he would reveal the reasons "in due time", and wished his team-mates luck.
