Ronaldo scores 981st goal, kisses shirt emblem and wears Saudi flag scarf in Al-Nassr 3-1 win

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 981st career goal in Al-Nassr’s 3-1 victory over Neftchi Fergana on October 13, 2026.

The 41-year-old marked the strike by kissing his shirt’s emblem and celebrating with a Saudi flag scarf amid heightened regional tensions.

Portugal has signalled its willingness to welcome Ronaldo back for November internationals following his dispute with the national team.
