Royal Rumble 2027 scheduled for Feb. 6 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale

WWE has announced that the 40th Royal Rumble will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2027, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The promotion said the event will serve as the opening stop on the Road to WrestleMania 43.

With just two months remaining in 2026, WWE still has three major main roster Premium Live Events (PLEs) on its calendar. Crown Jewel is scheduled for November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Survivor Series is due on November 28 in Houston, Texas. Wrestlepalooza is set for December 12, 2026, in Perth, Australia and will be WWE’s final PLE of the year.

WWE said the date was revealed shortly before the November 2 edition of Raw in Brooklyn, after the venue and city had previously been announced. The company posted on social media: "WWE has announced that the 40th annual Royal Rumble will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2027 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona! 🚨🚨#WWE #RoyalRumble pic.twitter.com/5jIBqSUZl4"

The 2027 event will be the third time Arizona has hosted the Royal Rumble, following editions in 2013 and 2019. It will include the traditional 30-man and 30-woman Royal Rumble Matches. The winners of those matches will earn championship opportunities at WrestleMania 43.

As part of Royal Rumble weekend in Glendale, Desert Diamond Arena will host a double show on Friday, February 5, featuring Friday Night SmackDown and AAA’s Road to Rey de Reyes. Those events are scheduled to take place the day before the Royal Rumble.

In the most recent edition, Roman Reigns and Liv Morgan won the respective men’s and women’s Rumble matches in 2026 and went on to win the World title at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

WrestleMania 43 has been confirmed for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as part of Riyadh Season, though the exact event dates and stadium venue for WrestleMania 43 have not yet been officially announced.
