Sanyal says 'I'm a ghost in their system' over Asian Games accommodation, deletes video

Indian athlete Sanyal said "I'm a ghost in their system" after reporting accommodation problems at the Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan, on September 17, 2026, and later deleted a video.

Sanyal, a bronze medallist at the Asian Championships in China in January 2026, travelled from London to Nagoya via Mumbai and Singapore and said his problems began after he reached Japan when he was made to wait for hours at different facilities as officials struggled to clear him and assign him a room.
