Saransh Jain claims 7/40 in Ranji Trophy despite New Zealand Test omission

Saransh Jain took 7/40 in a Ranji Trophy match, a performance reported on October 26, 2026.

It was his best bowling figures in a first-class innings and left Bihar's batting line-up struggling, putting Madhya Pradesh in a strong position.

The 33-year-old made his India debut in the second Test against Sri Lanka earlier this year but did not find a place in the squad for the upcoming two-match series against New Zealand.
