Sassuolo v AC Milan: confirmed lineups and pre-match updates for Serie A Round 6

Sassuolo will host AC Milan at the MAPEI Stadium Città del Tricolore on Sunday, October 11, 2026, in a Serie A Round 6 fixture. Confirmed starting lineups and final pre-match updates will be announced ahead of kick-off.

The contest is an early-season test as both sides seek momentum in the league, with Sassuolo’s attacking approach set to meet an AC Milan team aiming to maintain a strong start. The match brings together technical quality and multiple attacking options on both teams, and could hinge on how each side manages transitions and converts chances.

Sassuolo face selection uncertainty, with several players listed as unavailable or doubtful and decisions to be made before kick-off. Domenico Berardi’s availability should be confirmed closer to kick-off; his ability to create chances from the right and cut inside makes him an important attacking outlet for the hosts.

AC Milan must also assess concerns in finalising their starting XI as they seek to sustain their positive start under manager Ruben Amorim. Milan now hope to go undefeated in their opening six Serie A games for the first time since 2022, a statistic the squad will be aware of ahead of the trip to Reggio Emilia.

The head-to-head record between the clubs across 26 meetings favours AC Milan, who have won 13 times to Sassuolo’s eight, with five draws. The pair have combined for 87 goals in those fixtures, with Milan scoring 48 and Sassuolo 39.

Recent clashes provide specific context: Sassuolo won the most recent meeting 2-0 on May 3, 2026, with Domenico Berardi and Armand Laurienté on the scoresheet, while the prior encounter at San Siro on December 14, 2025, finished 2-2. Those results form part of the immediate backdrop to Sunday’s match-up.

Starting lineups will be confirmed closer to kick-off and further pre-match updates will be issued ahead of the fixture. For more updates, follow Khel Now on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; download the Khel Now Android App or IOS App and join our community on Telegram.
