Cristiano Ronaldo scored in Al Nassr’s 3-1 Saudi Pro League victory over Al Faisaly, a strike the league credited on Oct. 24, 2026, taking his official career tally to 982.
The goal sparked controversy after a deflection raised questions about an own goal, with Opta and other platforms disagreeing and leaving him 18 goals away from the 1,000-goal milestone.
