Saudi Pro League postpones Matchweek 13 after AFC Asian Cup rescheduling

The Saudi Pro League announced the postponement of Matchweek 13 in Saudi football after the AFC Asian Cup was rescheduled to December 2027–January 2028.

The rescheduling was made because of prevailing security concerns. The change affects many Saudi clubs, including Al-Nassr, where Cristiano Ronaldo plays, and is leading to interruptions in their international fixtures. The SPL said it will promptly reassess its match schedule amid rising tensions in the region.
