SC Delhi v Mohun Bagan: Confirmed lineups and pre-match updates for ISL 2026-27 clash

SC Delhi will host Mohun Bagan at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on Friday, 16 October 2026, in their first home fixture of the 2026-27 Indian Super League season, with both sides entering the game off narrow defeats in their opening matches.

SC Delhi took the fight to Bengaluru FC in their season opener but lost after taking a first-half lead; manager Tomasz Tchorz is set to tinker with his system to address defensive frailties and to sharpen attacking transitions. The club will aim to reinforce defensive shape and improve the final product in attack, with a victory seen as validation of their early-season ambitions and another defeat a potential setback to morale.

Mohun Bagan began their campaign with a 1-0 loss to NorthEast United after conceding a last-minute goal, and head coach Panagiotis Dilmperis is described as a man under pressure following that result. The Mariners will be looking for greater unpredictability and efficiency in the final third and a more compact shape to frustrate the hosts; Khel Now’s preview noted that a strong result would provide a timely confidence boost while another dropped game would intensify scrutiny of the coach and players.

Squad news in the preview states SC Delhi should field the same group that started against Bengaluru FC, while Jamie Maclaren is listed as the major injury absentee for Mohun Bagan after suffering a hamstring problem.

The article lists the following players: Nora Fernandes (GK), Langoulem Hangshing, Nduka Junior, Duvan Viafara, Manoj Mohammad, Yanglem Singh, Lalrinliana Hnamte, Mohammed Azhar, Juan Pena, Mohammed Aimen, Rodriguinho Vishal Kaith (GK), Abhishek Singh, Rahul Bheke, Alberto Rodriguez, Subhasish Bose, Lalengmawia Ralte, Anirudh Thapa, Miguel Figueira, Manvir Singh, Dejan Drazic, Lee Erwin.

The SC Delhi v Mohun Bagan match will kick off at 7:30 PM IST on Friday, 16 October 2026, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi; it will be broadcast live on the Sony Sports Network and livestreamed on Sony LIV and YouTube.
