SC Freiburg to host Bayern Munich at Europa-Park-Stadion on Bundesliga matchday seven
Matchday seven of the Bundesliga will take place at the Europa-Park-Stadion as SC Freiburg prepare to host Bayern Munich, in a preview published on 2026-10-25.
Freiburg arrive after a 3-0 defeat to AS Monaco in the UEFA Conference League and sit third on the Bundesliga table with 13 points from their opening six matches, four points behind league leaders Borussia Dortmund; Bruno Ogbus and Berkay Yılmaz are unavailable for the home side.
Bayern are described as sitting in third place in the Bundesliga points table and remain unbeaten in the league, registering four wins and two draws so far; their most recent league outing was a 6-1 victory over RB Leipzig in which Luis Díaz scored a hat-trick, and they come into this fixture following a 2-2 draw in the UEFA Champions League against Arsenal.
Bayern will be without Jamal Musiala and Luis Díaz for the clash against SC Freiburg.
The German winger has been in great form this season, having registered two goals and two assists in his last four appearances.
Alphonso Davies and Harry Kane scored for Bayern in the 2-2 Champions League draw at the Allianz Arena; Kane joined Bayern Munich in 2023, is one of the favourites to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or, and has scored four goals in five league matches.
