Secret Saint wins Taj Mahal Plate at Hyderabad on Oct. 12

Secret Saint, a five-year-old gelding ridden by Trevor, won the Taj Mahal Plate (1,600m) at Hyderabad on October 12, 2026. The race was the chief event of Monday’s card and was scheduled at 4.30 p.m.
The Taj Mahal Plate was run over 1,600m for 5-y-o and upward horses rated 60 to 85 (Cat. II). Secret Saint carried 54.5 under Trevor to claim first place; Glorious Power (Md. Ismail) finished second carrying 53.5 and Lucky Zone (Kuldeep Jr.) was third carrying 51.5. The full declared field included Vivaldo (Bhawani S) at 60, Celestial (M.S. Deora) 57.5, Silver Act (Mukesh K) 56.5 and others down to Krystallos (P. Sai K) 50.5.

The Nawab Mehdi Jung Bahadur Memorial Trophy (Div. II) over 1,100m, for 5-y-o and upward rated 40 to 65 (Cat. II) with a no-whip condition at 1.10 p.m., was taken by Flying Fury. The declared weights listed Flying Fury (G. Naresh) with the figure shown as 557; Shadow Fax (Surendra S) and Arthisha (D.S. Deora) were placed second and third. The published result read: 1.
