Sehrawat named India's co-flag-bearer at Asian Games 2026, says 'I did not sleep last night'

Sehrawat was named India's co-flag-bearer at the opening ceremony of the Asian Games 2026, the Times of India reported on September 19, 2026.

He was named alongside double Olympic medallist Manu Bhaker after a late change that followed Tajinderpal Singh Toor being ruled out due to technical issues; Toor had earlier been named as a flag-bearer.

The 2022 Asian Games gold-medal-winning captain said the honour made him so excited that he stayed awake through the night.
