India U-15 lost 1-6 to Senegal U-15 at the FIFA U15 World Cup & Festival Azerbaijan 2026 at the Hovsan Competition Complex Pitch 8A in Baku on Monday, October 26, 2026. Abdoulaye Diallo scored four times (9′, 11′, 18′, 31′) while Georges Kanfom (14′) and Pierre Mbengue (23′) added goals; Ronandev Aheibam scored India’s lone strike (33′).

The match was India’s fifth and final Group K game at the tournament and represented the first time the Blue Colts had trailed in their five matches at the event. Diallo’s first-half hat-trick and a second-half effort left India unable to recover after the early burst from Senegal. India finished third in Group K with 10 points from five matches following the result and Cameroon’s 2-0 win over Bahrain.

Group winners Cameroon and runners-up Senegal both ended on 12 points and will enter the tournament stage in Tiers A and B respectively; India will be placed in Tier C to contest positions 65th to 96th. Bahrain and Laos finished with four points and will go into Tiers D and E respectively, while Grenada ended the group with one point and will be in Tier F.

The opening five minutes were evenly contested before Senegal began to exert control and broke the deadlock in the ninth minute. Diallo received a pass from the right, advanced into the box and finished past India goalkeeper Jenit Ningthoujam from a narrow angle to make it 1-0.

Two minutes later Diallo doubled the lead by dribbling into the box from the left and striking with his left foot into the far top corner. Kanfom then made it 3-0 in the 14th minute after Pierre Mbengue played a defence-splitting through ball, allowing Kanfom to take a touch, round Jenit and finish into an empty net.

Diallo completed his hat-trick in the 18th minute by sweeping home a cutback from Kanfom, and Mbengue converted a rebound in the 23rd minute after Jenit initially saved his one-on-one effort. Diallo added a fourth in the 31st minute, receiving a pass from Kanfom inside the box, using a feint to create space and finish.

India pulled one back in the 33rd minute on a counter-attack when Deepak Singh Arambam delivered a low cross and Ronandev slid in to meet it with a first-time finish. India U15 men’s starting 8 vs Senegal: Jenit Ningthoujam (GK), Nara Meitei Loushambam, Muhammad Sohil Khan, Soumojit Sarkar, Birjit Singh Amom, R Lalremruatfela (C), Macdonnish Ngairangbam, Deepak Singh Arambam.
