Seth Rollins has signed a separate contract with ESPN that covers a set number of on-air appearances across the network’s programming, reports said on October 3, 2026. The agreement includes slots on Good Morning Football, First Take, Get Up, SportsCenter and other ESPN daily shows.

Rollins, known in WWE as “The Visionary,” has been broadening his presence in sports media alongside his wrestling career. He rose to prominence as a member of The Shield with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose (aka Jon Moxley in AEW), and his singles run later produced multiple world championship reigns and several major WWE moments. The former Heavyweight champion has already been a regular on Good Morning Football and has appeared across other ESPN programming. His media work also extends to NFL Network and Netflix, where he took part in Netflix’s coverage of an NFL Christmas Day game.

Details of the ESPN arrangement were reported by Sports Journal’s Richard Deitsch, who said the contract specifies a set number of appearances on Good Morning Football, First Take, Get Up, SportsCenter and other daily ESPN shows. The ESPN deal builds on Rollins’ earlier broadcasts and guest roles across sports outlets, where he has spoken about sports beyond professional wrestling. His NFL appearances and Netflix work have been presented in reports as part of a growing sports-media resume that complements his WWE profile. Sources cited in the report did not disclose commercial terms of the ESPN contract.

Rollins addressed the media work and his wrestling future in a recent interview, repeating that WWE remains central to his plans while he explores broadcasting opportunities. “Right now, I’ve got three years left on my WWE contract — I’ll be 43 when that’s up,” Rollins said. “I want to be with WWE as long as I can continue to contribute and feel I’m helping the product, as opposed to taking up space that could be better utilized for younger talent. When it comes to the sports media side of it, what I will not do is say I’m stopping wrestling and now I’m doing sports media.

He expanded on how he will manage both paths and how future negotiations might evolve around a larger media role. “I want to continue at this game in WWE while also continuing to field offers [in sports media] and see where that goes. Once we get closer to the next contract with WWE, it’ll be like, ‘OK, what does this look like? Is there any interest from an ESPN for a bigger role or something that’s more substantial, something that can provide for me after pro wrestling?’“

There were no specific commercial details released about the ESPN contract in the reporting; the coverage noted that Rollins’ agreement with ESPN will cover appearances on Good Morning Football, First Take, Get Up, SportsCenter and other ESPN daily shows. Recent roster changes within WWE were mentioned in the report as context for discussion around contracts and departures.

Rollins said he still has three years remaining on his WWE deal and will evaluate media opportunities in the lead-up to his next contract discussions, including the possibility of a more substantial role with ESPN when negotiations occur.
