Shikhar Dhawan to take legal action after organisers used his name without permission

Former India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan said in a post on X on October 14, 2026 that organisers of an upcoming franchise T20 league had used his name without his knowledge or permission and that he was not participating.

He said his team would take appropriate legal action and urged the media and fans to ignore unauthorised announcements.

Dhawan has represented India across all three international cricket formats.
