Siraj’s three sixes in last over takes India to 207 chase past Sri Lanka Cricket XI in Colombo

Mohammed Siraj remained unbeaten on 32 as India sealed the chase, finishing on the target to win by six wickets. He hit four sixes in total, three of them in the last over, to turn a tense finish into a successful run chase.
There were additional positives for India across the match: Devdutt Padikkal scored a brilliant century in the first innings, Ravindra Jadeja contributed with both bat and ball, and captain Shubman Gill returned after recovering from a finger injury to score 44 runs.
With the warm-up match completed, Team India will shift full focus to the opening Test in Galle, which will start on August 15. Shubman Gill and co will aim to begin the series with a victory and gain important World Test Championship points.
