SL v IND Galle Test Day 4 session timings for August 18

The fourth day of the Sri Lanka vs India first Test will start at 9:45 AM IST on August 18 at the Galle International Stadium in Galle. The match resumes under a timetable that includes a 40-minute lunch break and a 20-minute tea interval.
India began the third day on 460 for nine and added just two runs on day three. Prabath Jayasuriya finished with four wickets, Keshara Nuwantha took three and Asitha Fernando claimed two. Sri Lanka’s innings began poorly when Mohammed Siraj removed Nishan Fernando for a duck in the first over. Lahiru Udara (27) and captain Dhananjaya de Silva (21) provided resistance but Sri Lanka were 90 for five at one stage.
Niroshan Dickwella scored 80 and Sonal Dinusha reached 100 as they rebuilt the innings, the pair adding 146 for the sixth wicket. Dinusha recorded his maiden century. Sri Lanka posted 284, trailing India by 178.
For India, Manav Suthar was the pick of the bowlers with four wickets. Sri Lanka’s recovery with the bat prevented India from enforcing the follow-on. The state of play leaves India with a 178-run advantage heading into Day 4.
The first session on Day 4 will run from 09:45 AM to 12:00 PM IST / 4:00 AM to 6:30 AM GMT / 09:45 AM to 12:00 PM local time. Lunch is scheduled from 12:00 PM to 12:40 PM IST / 6:30 AM to 7:10 AM GMT / 12:00 PM to 12:40 PM local time. The second session is set for 12:40 PM to 2:40 PM IST / 7:10 AM to 9:10 AM GMT / 12:40 PM to 2:40 PM local time, followed by a tea break from 2:40 PM to 3:00 PM IST / 9:10 AM to 9:30 AM GMT / 2:40 PM to 3:00 PM local time. The final session runs from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST / 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM GMT / 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, with a half-hour extension allowed from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM IST / 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM GMT / 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM local time.
