SmackDown in Charleston hosts Sami Zayn vs Trick Williams, Chelsea Green vs Nikki Bella and Rey Fenix vs Ricky Saints

On October 30, 2026 at the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia, WWE SmackDown presented a Halloween-themed episode titled "Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown," featuring three scheduled championship matches and further build toward Crown Jewel 2026.

The card listed three title bouts: Undisputed WWE Championship: Sami Zayn (c) vs Trick Williams; WWE Women’s Championship: Chelsea Green (c) vs Nikki Bella; and AAA Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Fenix (c) vs Ricky Saints. The show was promoted as a special, Halloween-themed presentation hosted by Danhausen and described as part of SmackDown’s continued build toward Crown Jewel.

Sami Zayn was set to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Trick Williams, who holds the United States Championship. The challenge from Williams followed a face-to-face confrontation with Zayn during the October 23 SmackDown broadcast; Williams seeks the Undisputed Championship, while Zayn remains part of SmackDown’s title picture ahead of his scheduled Crown Jewel match with Roman Reigns on November 7.

Chelsea Green entered the episode as WWE Women’s Champion after retaining her title against Roxanne Perez on October 23. Her challenger for October 30 was WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, who has been pursuing a championship opportunity; Green is also slated to meet Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan at Crown Jewel, and the show noted that a title change would affect plans for that champion-versus-champion pairing while a successful defence would provide Green momentum.

Rey Fenix was billed to defend the AAA Cruiserweight Championship against Ricky Saints following Fenix’s retention in a four-way match at AAA Heroes Inmortales. That retention came after Mini Vikingo was unable to compete because of an injury; Saints was presented as earning another opportunity after their recent encounters and Fenix as aiming to continue his reign.

The episode’s Halloween presentation was officially titled "Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown," with broadcast commentary teases of unexpected developments. Danhausen’s hosting was tied into an ongoing storyline with Gunther, and the broadcast noted that Gunther had hinted he planned to make the occasion special for the unusual host; the themed show included the three championship matches as advertised.

SmackDown’s October 30 episode served to advance the blue brand’s build toward Crown Jewel on November 7, with several scheduled title matches and storyline developments feeding into the promotion’s plans for that event.
