Sonal, Pasindu lead Sri Lanka to 265/8 at close of Day 3 in second Test

In the second Test between India and Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka ended Day 3 at 265/8, resisting India's bowlers through a lower-order fightback.

Sonal Dinusha remained unbeaten on 85 and Pasindu Sooriyabandara scored 80. India had reduced Sri Lanka to 216/7 but failed to finish the innings.

Dinusha’s partnerships with Keshara Nuwantha and Lahiru Kumara frustrated India, leaving Sri Lanka 38 runs short of avoiding the follow-on.
