Sony confirms God of War Laufey pre-orders, details Standard and Digital Deluxe editions

Sony has confirmed that pre-orders for God of War Laufey will open on September 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time and will be available digitally and through physical retail outlets. The studio also confirmed the game is scheduled to launch on February 16, 2026, exclusively on PS5.

Santa Monica Studio accompanied the pre-order announcement with a reveal of edition contents, bonus rewards and a new weapon demonstration that included combat footage. The publisher said the title will be offered in a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition; the Digital Deluxe Edition includes exclusive cosmetic items, a digital soundtrack, an artbook, and additional in-game content. The developer highlighted the Serpent Bow during the showcase and presented segments of the game’s combat systems.

Players who pre-order any edition of God of War Laufey will receive a set of bonus rewards: the Last Wish Armor Set, the Phranque Golden Leaves cosmetic appearance, and an In-game Resource Pack. Those bonuses apply regardless of whether the pre-order is placed digitally or at retail.

The price for God of War Laufey has not been officially revealed yet, and Sony said players must wait until the pre-orders go live to learn pricing. There is also no collector’s edition announced for now.

Santa Monica Studio described the Serpent Bow as an enchanted bow with a shifting form and said it is suitable for close-range combat as well as long-range combat. That weapon demonstration was presented alongside other combat footage in the studio’s pre-order reveal.

Pre-orders go live on September 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time, when Sony will make pricing and availability details public; the game itself remains scheduled to launch on February 16, 2026, exclusively on PS5.
