Sony to air England vs Pakistan three-Test series in India

England and Pakistan start a three-match Test series in England on 19 August, and broadcasters in India will show the matches on Sony Sports Network with live streaming available on SonyLIV. The bilateral tour runs through to 13 September across three venues in England.
The series is played at Headingley, Lord’s and Edgbaston and carries added significance for England as Joe Root returns as Test captain following Ben Stokes’ retirement from the longest format of the game. England are returning to red-ball action after losing their last home series to New Zealand, while Pakistan aim to challenge England and strengthen their standing in the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.
Sony Sports Network holds the television broadcast rights for international cricket action in England and will telecast the ENG vs PAK Tests on its channels in India. Matches will also be available for viewers to stream on SonyLIV, with telecasts scheduled for 3:30 pm by Indian Standard Time (IST).
The three Tests are scheduled at the following venues: Headingley in Leeds, Lord’s in London and Edgbaston in Birmingham. The opening Test is at Headingley, the second Test at Lord’s and the final Test at Edgbaston.
England and Pakistan have met in 92 Test matches, with England recording 30 wins, Pakistan 23 wins and 39 matches finishing as draws. Pakistan sit eighth in the WTC points table with two wins and a PCT of 22.22.
Stephen Fleming has replaced Brendon McCullum as England’s new Test coach.
