South Korea host India at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Centre in the second round of the Davis Cup 2026 Qualifiers on September 18 and 19.

India, ranked 19th in Davis Cup, face 16th-ranked South Korea as they attempt to reach the final stage for the first time since 2011; the tie is part of the Qualifiers Round 2. South Korea field former World No. 19 Hyeon Chung, while India arrive buoyed by victories over Switzerland and the Netherlands in earlier rounds. The Balaji–Poonacha pairing has been identified as a key combination for India’s chances of overcoming Korea in the tie.

India and South Korea have met 11 times in Davis Cup competition history, with South Korea leading the head-to-head 6-5; the most recent encounter between the sides ended in a 4-1 win for India in 2016. The tie will be contested over two days at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Centre.

The doubles rubber and any reverse singles are scheduled for September 19; the winner of this tie will advance to the Davis Cup Finals in Bologna, Italy, in November, while the losing nation will drop to round 1 of the Davis Cup qualifiers.
