BCCI honorary secretary Devajit Saikia said: “We have also increased coverage of the tournament, and all matches of the Duleep Trophy will be streamed live, and there will also be TV coverage of one quarter-final, one semi-final, and the final.” The board confirmed that Indian viewers can watch TV coverage on the Star Sports Network and access the live stream on JioHotstar with a nominal subscription.
The tournament format places Central Zone and South Zone directly into a semi-final, while the remaining four teams will contest quarter-finals with the two winners advancing to the semi-finals. All fixtures are scheduled to start at 9:30 AM IST.
Venue details list the final at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai between September 6 and 10, with other matches to be played at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (COE) Grounds 1 and 2. The organisers have allocated one quarter-final, one semi-final and the final for television broadcast under the expanded coverage plan.
The Duleep Trophy 2026-27 opens on August 23 with East Zone facing North East Zone at BCCI COE Ground 2, and Central Zone will seek to defend the title they won in the previous edition; the competition concludes with the final at Chepauk Stadium from September 6 to 10.
