Super League Kerala 2026: Kannur Warriors v Thrissur Magic to open 3rd edition on 25th September

Kannur Warriors FC and Thrissur Magic FC will open the 3rd edition of Super League Kerala at the Jawahar Municipal Stadium in Kannur on 25th September, with kickoff scheduled for 8 PM.
The competition was launched in 2024 to professionalize the state’s football ecosystem and provide a platform for Keralite clubs to grow and foster. The inaugural edition was won by Calicut FC and the defending champions entering Season 3 are Kannur Warriors FC.
All six clubs from the first two seasons return to contest Super League Kerala 2026: Kannur Warriors FC, Thrissur Magic FC, Calicut FC, Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC, Forca Kochi FC and Malappuram FC.
Several teams have high-profile Indian backers: Shashi Tharoor serves as the chief patron of Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC, actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is a co-owner of Forca Kochi FC, and cricketer Sanju Samson is a co-owner of Malappuram FC.
The league’s rosters include players with Indian Super League experience, among them Roy Krishna, Mailson Alves, Ishan Pandita, Lenny Rodrigues, Rafael Augusto and Michael Soosairaj.
Matches will be staged across six venues, and the published first-half fixtures identify which ground serves as each club’s home stadium.
