Super League Kerala 2026: Thrissur Magic 2–0 Kannur Warriors — updated table and top scorers

Thrissur Magic FC defeated Kannur Warriors FC 2–0 at the Thrissur Corporation Stadium on Saturday, November 7, 2026, in a Super League Kerala match, securing their first regular-time victory of the season. Valentine Ekejiuba opened the scoring in the 7th minute and Shilajit Santra added a second in first-half injury time.
Calicut FC sit top of the Super League Kerala table with 14 points, followed by Forca Kochi FC on 13 and Malappuram FC in third with 11 after their win over Forca Kochi FC yesterday. Thiruvananthapuram Kombans FC occupy fourth place with 8 points, while Calicut’s 14 points come from 4 victories and a goal difference of +5. Rahul Raju leads the Golden Boot race with 6 goals in total.
Kannur had an early effort ruled out for offside before Thrissur’s opener; Valentine Ekejiuba put Thrissur ahead in the 7th minute by heading in his own rebound. The goal followed the disallowed chance and gave Thrissur an early foothold in the contest.
Shilajit Santra doubled Thrissur’s lead in first-half injury time, with the goal coming after a sequence in which Kannur goalkeeper Kamaluddin produced several notable saves. Santra’s strike established a two-goal cushion for Thrissur going into the interval.
Kannur introduced five tactical substitutions during the second half in an attempt to alter the match’s momentum, but Thrissur’s defence, led on the field by Mailson Alves, maintained its organisation. Late in added time Kannur’s Jobin Joseph was shown a red card.
The victory moved Thrissur Magic FC to seven points and into fifth place on the Super League Kerala table; Kannur Warriors FC also sit on seven points but occupy sixth due to an inferior goal difference, with Thrissur at -4 and Kannur at -5.
