Tamim Iqbal hopeful on India white-ball series, says Bangladesh 'could have dealt' with T20 World Cup withdrawal better

Tamim Iqbal, president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, said in a Times of India report published on 2026-08-31 that he is hopeful of arranging a white-ball series against India and acknowledged Bangladesh "could have dealt" with its withdrawal from the 2026 T20 World Cup better.
Both cricket boards are diligently searching for an appropriate time for the tour.
