Tan Kim Her: Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty can challenge for World Championships if mentally strong

India’s men’s doubles coach Tan Kim Her said in a Times of India report on August 5, 2026, that Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty can challenge for the World Championships title if they stay mentally strong.

He said Satwik’s shoulder has recovered significantly but that injury remains a concern.

Tan also stressed the need to regain match rhythm after breaks, to manage expectations and to focus on one match at a time.
