Tata Steel sells entire Jamshedpur FC stake to Churchill Brothers

Tata Steel sanctioned the sale on August 14, 2026 of its entire ownership stake in Jamshedpur FC to Goa-based Churchill Brothers Sports Club, transferring the club's ISL sporting rights and the contracts of players and coaching staff, with those moves due to begin in September 2026.

The sale was made for a minimal price, and the decision will allow Tata Steel to focus on enhancing grassroots football initiatives.
